graze, brunel square, ba1 1sx

This has a very nice selection of cooked breakfasts - I've only ever had dinner here, but everyone says the breakfasts are really nice too! It is right next to the train station. |
moose coffee house, 9a Claverton street, ba2 4LD
Moose Coffee Company used to be called Kindling Coffee Company. They do not have a current website, and most of the images on the internet still show them with the "Kindling Coffee Company" sign. Even Google Maps still thinks it's called the Kindling Coffee Company (see map below). The only thing that has changed as far as I can tell is the name. There isn't a lot of choice for breakfast, but they do very nice coffee and cakes, and offer bacon and sausage baps as well. It is less than two minutes' walk from the house.
Lennie's cafe, 18 claverton buildings, ba2 4ld
This place doesn't have a website either. And to be honest, it looks a little basic... but I'm including it because a) it's about a two minute walk from the house and b) it's got some great reviews on Trip Advisor (see here: TripAdvisor Reviews for Lennie's).
They seemed really friendly when I popped my head in to ask about their breakfasts, but it's probably not a top destination if you want more than coffee and a bacon bap.

giraffe, 8 dorchester street, ba1 1SS

This one is almost directly opposite Graze. I almost put this with the Popular Chain restaurants section, but it hasn't been there very long, so I don't know how popular it will be! Also, it's close to our house and offers breakfast so... I have been to a Giraffe in London, and it was nice enough. The breakfasts here look pretty good, and start from £5. |
cosy club, southgate place, ba1 1ap

This is just a little further in to town from Giraffe, and seems to have a really varied and interesting selection of breakfast and brunch items. They are open from 9 am and do all day breakfasts. I have not been here yet, but friends tell me it's very good. |
